Sam started his working life in a warehouse at 15 years old in a local feed store. He worked at Starbucks as a barista, part time in sales at Primerica Insurance, and weekends at Big Texas Dance Hall and Saloon as a doorman. He became a repairman at Ernie Smith & Sons Roofing at 17. He promoted to supervisor at 19, then transitioned into sales. He currently leads the company in marketing and special operations.
Sam holds FEMA certifications in Emergency Management, specifically National Incident Management System (NIMS) 100, 200, 700, and 800. He is a Courage to Be Safe graduate, and is State Firefighters' and Fire Marshals' Academy (SFFMA) Firefighter 1 certified. He is certified in the "Steep Slope Pro Field Guide Test" from GAF, and has passed other tests and classes in the industry, including training for Xactimate. He is a safety expert, passing the National Roofing Contractor's Association (NRCA) Roofing Industry Fall Protection testing.
Sam manages the company's marketing, advertising, and branding campaigns. He champions the company's community involvement, becoming members of local Chamber of Commerce's everywhere, entering business communities, and generally building the company's network wherever possible. He is intertwined in sales and production training, policy changes, and policy implementation.
In his spare time, Sam enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and beautiful children. He is an avid nature enthusiast. He enjoys taking the boat on the water, fishing, hunting, camping, and all things football. You can find Sam on the weekends early in the morning, camera in hand, taking pictures of the world waking up. Or you can find him in the afternoons enjoying a glass of sweet iced tea, BBQing ribs and grilling his favorite New York Strip steak. "Go Texans!"

The homeowners contacted our office after an average hail storm passed over their neighborhood. They were worried about their roof, as they new it was already old.
